Join us in praying for Boliva

A tremendous trip to Bolivia is over. This time my whole family came with me along with to bibleschoolstudents and one lady from Wales. We have experienced Gods goodness, Gods power, Gods controll, Gods guidance. Hundred and fifty people invited Jesus into their hearts, to be their Savior and Lord. Many sick people got healed from various diseases. A ten year old boy, born deaf, got his hearing. Some cross-eyed had their eyes fixed. Some turned from bad-sighted to good-sighted. Backs were healed. A man who was suffering from a stroke, so that only one of his eyes could move from side to side, had his eyes syncronized in Jesus name. People who had been involved in accidents, with pain, leg damages, knee problems; all kinds of things, were healed.

Bolivia is a wonderfull country. The nature is great, great plains, tropic areas, jungle, rain forest, mountains up to more than 6000 meters. Cities on 4000 meters -centers for politics and religion. Cochabamba (2600) with the most stable and nice climate there is - for a norwegian. And the people must be the most wonderfull in the entire world. Politically everything is unstable. Bolivian politics shocks regularly and blocks the worlds interests to invest in the nation. There's plenty of recourses, but little development.

Spiritually, Bolivia is wide open. Some parts seems to be under the oppression of the confusion that comes from mixing all kinds of religion. The Roman Catholic Church in Rome has, as far as I am told, legalized the mix of Catholisism, devil worship and nature religion with it's worship of the Sun and Mother Earth. I've been in the mines under the cathedral in Oruro and seen the offering to and the shearing of fellowship with the "uncle" as they call him - a statue of the devil.

But most places there is a hunger for God and a desire to get to know him. Convertions easily happens. The bigger challenge is to build a Kingdom of God culture into the life of the society, starting with the churches of course.
It is a great privilege to know and to work with David and Violeta and a number of great people who is doing a tremendous job to lead, help and to plant churches. They all need our prayers. In these days, they really need our prayers.

We visited David Larsson's church in Cochabamba (Palabra de Fe) 6 years ago although we did not meet him and his family as they were in Sweden during our visit. Now we are back to Cochabamba and would like to visit the church again. We don't know if the church is still in the same place (of course we can go there and look) but we would like to contact them to ask. But there is hardly any recent information on the internet about the church. Could you give as info about the church or forward this to them. We would be very thankful.
